High Office Chair

The High Office Chair is the model of chair most likely seen in the boss's office. The high back of the chair is a through back to the days when every country had a castle and every castle had a king and every king had a throne. Of course the queen did as well, but that's another story. The throne was made with an oversized high back, it was to make it very apparent that the occupant of this chair was very important and regal.

The high back office chair can be made of any material, but is mostly noted to be made of leather. Leather is a material that suggest that the occupant has money enough to spend it on a chair. This is a chair that suggest power, money and the status of importance in the company.

What mystery would be complete without a high back office chair. Considering the height of the chair can be as high as forty seven inches, which is perfect for concealing a crime. The chair's perfect height will hide evidence long enough for the perpetrator to get away with a crime. And let's face it most crimes have a motive of power, money or jealousy, so the chair fits right in to most drama shows and movies.

And speaking of mysteries, how about a horror movie based on a janitor entering an office with the back of the chair turned to the janitor. The janitor flips on the light and slowly walks toward the chair and finally close enough to turn the chair around only to discover....well that part is up to the writers. But some of the detective shows start with the story line of, and the janitor found him this way while cleaning. So, the bosses chair can be the beginning of a crime story or just what it is meant to be, a place of comfort for the important boss to ponder big corporate take overs, or just to take an afternoon snooze, turned slightly enough away so that no one would ever know the boss is asleep.

And what employee hasn't tried out the boss's chair just to see how things look from the perspective of the all important chair.

The boss's office chair sparks a lot of envy among those on the little roller chairs at all of the cubicles. Oh and a wonderful feature of the boss's chair is the ability to lay back almost in a position of a recliner. Who wouldn't want that?
