Canopy Folding Chairs, a More Comfortable Way to Sit

During the summer, our family went camping. We went down to the lake to go fishing. I was sitting on a hard, dirty rock in the hot sun for hours, patiently waiting for the fish to bite. I looked over and saw a man sitting in a canopy folding chair. I was impressed and a little jealous, as I watched him sitting under the shade of the canopy with his feet up, drinking a cold beverage and eating a sandwich. "Now that is the way to fish" I thought to myself. I then began to think about other places where a chair like that would be nice to have.

It seems like we are constantly putting chairs in the back of the van to take to one event or the other. We bring them on camping trips, pool parties, sporting events, neighborhood parties and church socials. I have always used the regular camping chairs for these events and they are nice, but canopy folding chairs would make a nice upgrade. It would be nice to have a set in the back yard when we have friends over for a cook out. Also, the canopy can be removed for people like me who would like to feel the warm sun once in a while. The removable canopy would also make it an ideal chair to use for indoor parties as well.

In doing some research, I found that they come in all different styles and colors. There is also a huge range in price to fit most any budget. The prices that I saw ranged anywhere from about $30.00 to $200.00 depending on how fancy you wanted to get. They also have the nice carrying case to make transporting them easy. In some cases, the canopy is the carrying case. The regular camping chairs are nice, but these would make a nice upgrade.

The next time I take my family on a camping trip and we go down to the lake to go fishing, I won't be sitting on a hard, dirty rock with the sun beating on me, but I will be relaxing in comfortable shade, drinking a cold beverage and eating a sandwich in a canopy folding chair. That's a much better way to fish.
