Folding Table Chairs

Folding table chairs are a must have for almost everyone, and are perfect for any occasion involving guests. The single man or woman will want a few around for those times when guests come over to play cards, and the family man or woman will need plenty of extra chairs for parties or those weekend get togethers when all of the relatives seem to show up at the same time.

Human beings are sociable creatures, and it's fun and cathartic for us to get together with our friends and family members to cook, eat, talk, drink some wine, and play board games. It's nice to have loved ones or good acquaintances over to visit our homes for short periods of time - it makes us feel good inside. As hosts or hostesses, we fuss and worry over it, knowing full well how important it is to make sure the guests are properly cared for while visiting, and how important it is to provide good food, good drink, fun games to play or movies to watch, and of course comfortable seating arrangements for our cherished guests. In short, we want everything to be perfect.

Imagine that the big day arrives and everything is going according to plan. The wine or beer is chilled, the food is prepared, the games are stacked neatly in the living room, and the guests begin to arrive, offering you warm greetings and perhaps bringing along some food or drinks of their own. Can you imagine how embarassing it would be if, once your guests were ready to sit down around the kitchen table for talk and drinks, you realized that you didn't have enough folding table chairs?

Not having enough chairs is a bigger deal than it may seem. For starters, it makes the chair-less guest feel left out, even though he or she understands that it's nothing personal - it's just an awkward moment, and everyone feels it. Perhaps this has something to do with the game of musical chairs we played as children, where the one left standing was the odd duck, the outcast. Worse still, where is this guest going to sit, exactly? On the kitchen floor? In the lap of one of your other guests?
