In extreme weather conditions like storms you might have to bring them inside, and also they require maintenance like polishing and regular wiping.

The cheapest option for outdoor bar stools would be in molded plastic. Although they are totally weatherproof they may last that long and are not so attractive. Very hot weather will start to ruin the plastic and it will start to crack.

Your choice of outside bar stool will depend on the design you are looking for after considering the durability factor. It is always advisable to spend a few extra bucks and go in for something which is elegant and will last for a longer time.
